What is your commission structure?
We provide commission on the sale of legal document templates as follows;
• Level 1: 25%
• Level 2: 5%
• Level 3: 2%
So if one of your customers buys a document costing £50, we give you £12.50 automatically.
We do not provide commission for other services such as legal advice. However, if your customers seek legal advice on a regular basis and you refer them to us, (so that we see you are generating business for us) we shall consider negotiating a special agreement with you that is fair for us both.

Legal documents are not impulse purchases. So we track your customers for 60 days. If they return within that time, we count them as ‘yours’ and you receive commission on all documents they purchase.
You choose what to sell. Sell the entire document collection, just a category (for example, the property documents or e-commerce documents), or simple select particular documents that you think your customers will be interested in (for example, our Website Privacy Policy, or Shareholders agreements) by linking straight to them.

Once you have signed up, we contact you to introduce ourselves. We then provide access to your own control panel where you can collect unique tracking codes and marketing tools to help you sell.

For how long will I continue to receive level two commissions?
We will continue to pay you level two and level three commission for three years from the date of termination of your contract, provided level two and level three commission together, paid to you in the immediately preceding 12 months exceeded £200. To put it another way, it has to be worth our time and yours to keep the account open.
What are your selling points?
It has to be said that legal documents do not make a product with obvious sex appeal. But buying Net Lawman documents does have a gigantic benefit to the customer. As you will see from the text on our web site, we believe the selling points are:
Huge cost savings over using a solicitor. Solicitors are professionally bound to take full instructions and provide full advice. You cannot go to a solicitor and ask for “a document” no matter how confident you are that you can settle the terms. That leads to a high bill before you can say “professional monopoly”. Is there a qualification requirement to be a Net Lawman affiliate?
No. You need a website – that is all. You may choose to be an affiliate for as many or as few documents as you like, in any category or all categories.

Do I receive commission for every sale during the cookie duration or only for the first sale?
You receive commission for every document sale within those 90 days.
What is level one commission?
Set at 25%, level one commission is the commission you receive for any document sale made by one of your customers.
What is level two commission?
Set at 5%, level two commission is the commission you receive for any document sale made by a customer who originates from an affiliate referred to our system by you.
What is level three commission?
Set at 2%, level three commission is the commission you receive for any document sale made by a customer who originates from an affiliate referred to our system by an affiliate who was in turn referred by you.
For example, say you (let’s call you ‘Mrs. A’ for now) join our affiliate program. If you then tell your colleague (Mr. B) to join, you will receive level two commission – that is 5% - for any documents that his customers purchase from us. If Mr. B then tells his colleague (Mr. Z) to join, not only will Mr. B receive 5% commission from those sales, but you will receive level three commission – 2%.
So the easiest way of earning commission is not only to sell our documents from your website, but to recruit other affiliates to the programme and earn commission from sales by their customers too.
What is the market for legal documents?
Unlike other products, legal documents will always be in demand. This is because it is often a breach of the law not to have them. Millions of people need legal documents every year, from individuals to businesses, government agencies, charities, and many more.
What technical help can you give me?
Set up is very easy. The most technical aspect of set up is adding the code to your website. We expect that you can either do this yourself, or you have a team you use to do such technical changes. If you get really stuck, we shall help, however, our team are busy doing other tasks so we may not be able to help immediately.
How is commission calculated?
We use a third party affiliate programme, iDev. It is flexible, easy to set up and easy to use. As you would expect, the programme provides real time statistics, so that you can come to our site any time and check up how you are doing.
iDev calculates your commission by taking the gross sale price and deducting any tax (such as VAT). We give you 25% of what is left, period. There are no hidden extras such as bank costs or anything else. You also receive 5% and 2% commission for sub and sub-sub-affiliates – that is, any affiliate you have introduced.
What is your selling currency?
We have a number of websites which sell legal documents for a variety of jurisdictions. If you are linked to us from the UK, you can also sell documents from any of our other sites. Payment to you will always be in pounds sterling, unless we arrange for it to be made in US dollars, Euros or Australian dollars. We have a minimum payout of £10, US$25 and A$25. Anything less than this will roll over to the following month.
For how long shall I receive commission against sales referred by me?
We track your customer for 90 days after his first visit. Any document he purchases within this time shall be credited to you.
